They say that we have gone from the steam engine to the search engine, but before the advent of vapor power we had sail boats as well as horse and buggy. It was the train that got people moving. The railroads that connected the country. Still, is steam power around in the future?
You can use any kind of fuel. Coal, wood, garbage, they all work. As long as it burns and creates full head of steam you are in business. People say that coal is dirty, but the US has 500 year supply of black rock. Also, you can burn garbage to make the steam. The old choo choo train will once again ride in the future.
Also steam ships will once again ride the mighty ocean. All the seamen will soon have a choice sail or steam because oil will run out. Trust me, I love sail boats until the breeze dies, steam is better. I have sailed on a steam ship. It is very reliable and powerful.
